Quality Policy

Gramin Vikas Samiti is committed to delivering competent, impartial and timely certification services that consistently meet the requirements of our accreditation bodies and the expectations of our clients.

Quality, for a certification body, is not an abstract slogan to be printed on a wall and quietly forgotten — it is the daily discipline of doing every assessment the same rigorous way, every time, regardless of who the client is or how large the contract may be. A certificate from us is only ever as valuable as the consistency behind it, and this policy exists to make that consistency real, visible and repeatable across everything we do. When our name appears on a certificate, it must mean the same thing every single time.

Our commitments

We operate a fully documented management system that ensures every assessment is carried out objectively, by qualified assessors, against the requirements of the relevant standard. We measure our own performance honestly, and we act on what we find rather than filing it away and moving on.

  • Competent, consistent and timely assessments delivered by qualified, calibrated personnel.
  • Full compliance with the requirements of NABCB and the wider IAF framework.
  • Continual improvement of our processes, our tools and our people.
  • Fair, transparent pricing with no hidden costs or unpleasant surprises.
  • Respect for the time, the business and the confidentiality of every client we serve.

How we put it into practice

Assessors are carefully selected, trained and monitored against defined competence criteria, and their performance is reviewed rather than simply assumed. Audit findings are reviewed independently before any certification decision is made, so that no single individual can shortcut the process or let a relationship influence an outcome. Client feedback and complaints are treated as genuine improvement opportunities rather than inconveniences to be managed away, and the lessons they contain are fed back into how we work so that we improve for every client, not just the one who raised the issue.

Responsibility and review

Top management owns this policy and the results it produces — it is not delegated to a junior function and forgotten. It is reviewed at planned intervals, and whenever significant changes occur in our services or context, to confirm that it remains appropriate to the purpose and context of the organisation and continues to serve our clients well. A quality policy that is never reviewed is a quality policy no one truly believes in.
